Cape Cycle Race 2019

KMA Property Manager, Andile Petelo and Director, Dwyn Griesel sacrificed their behinds once again this year to raise money for our children’s music lessons! The Cape Town Cycle Race 2019 experienced another windy challenge in the Mother City on 10 March. This year Andile finished the tour under 6 hours and Dwyn made it through the finish line with 10 minutes to spare!! It was a gruelling ride and brought back memories of the “Great Black South Easter Race of 2009”. But, with medals in hand both hobbled back to the car justifying the R21 000 raised in sponsorship monies. KMA thanks the many donors who supported our brave (and somewhat crazy!) duo.

Working at the Car Wash!

To help raise funds for term 2, KMA pupils and staff held three Saturday car washes this term. All shapes and sizes were cleaned to perfection, and Facebook feeds declared the KMA Car Wash as “The Best in Hout Bay”! Thank you to all the staff and KMA families or helping make these fun and happy team building days. Thank you to Cliff Groep for all the lovely photos!
